About

Have you ever loaded a webpage only for it to be in the wrong language? Or maybe your streaming services gave you content from another country? Many of these online services use IP geolocation to determine where users, like you, are located to deliver the right content from the right servers. Given the ever growing complexity of the network, this project aims to measure how well today’s IP geolocation methods perform in the modern Internet. Our hope is to use these findings to design methods for delivering content with greater accuracy and lower latency.
